Roshni Alice

Roshni Alice Prem, Asst. Professor at St. Alberts College, Ernakulam, is a part of faculty of Logistics department since 1st April 2017. She did her graduation in B. Tech ( Electronics and Instrumentation) and Masters in Business Administration ( HR and Systems). The institutions she pursued these courses were Noorul Islam College of Engineering, Thakkala and College of Engineering, Trivandrum. After completing studies, she joined Alliance Cornhill Information Services ( Technopark, Trivandrum) as eSEM Quality Audit Intern. The time she had spent with this team gave her opportunity to coordinate quality audit trainings, coordinate quality campaigns, assist recruitment and assist quality audit. Almost an year later, as part of relocating to Cochin, she left the job at Alliance and joined Taurus Web Solutions as HR – Executive. In this designation she independently handled the HR duties. She have recruited quite a number of candidates to various posts, have conducted many employee engagement activities and that sums up her professional career prior to St. Albert’s. During the course of her studies, she had the opportunity to have hands on experience on a few areas. The commendable ones are: - Certificate of Training in PLC & SCDA from Yokogawa India Limited - Certificate of Training in DCS Fundamentals & Engineering from Yokogawa India Limited - Member, International Society of Automation To add on to this, she also had the privilege in qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Management conducted by UGC in the year 2015. In very near future she also wishes to do a research in management to earn a Phd. As it gives her great satisfaction as a teacher in Logistics department, she also enjoys other roles such as being a part of syllabus revision team, as department sports coordinator and as Department Secretary. Also she had attended faculty development programmes, workshops, panel discussions, summits and seminars on Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Seaport Operations, Tally and Supply Chain Management. Further moving on, she sincerely hope to be a valuable member of Department of Logistics and a significant contributor to St. Albert’s College in reaching its new heights.
