The Albertian English Language Programme (AELP) is a compulsory certificate course in English for the first-year undergraduate students of the College. The aim of the course is to acquaint the learners with the English language, especially the spoken component. AELP was envisaged with the vision to
▹ strengthen communication skills and English language proficiency in young learners,
▹ develop in them the skills for better performance and
▹ train them for employability
The most unique feature of this course is the involvement of senior students who are proficient in English as student-tutors.
At the end of the course, the learner will be evaluated on the LSRW skills and graded accordingly
Learners who successfully complete the course will be awarded certificates
