Human Resource Information System
Technology and Human Resource Management (HRM) are continually evolving and there is a growing need to understand and move with the times. HRIS is a systematic way of storing data and information for each individual employee to aid planning, decision making and submitting of returns and reports to the external agencies. The growing importance of HRIS is evidenced by the recognition of human resource management (HRM) practitioners, academics, and managers that information technology (IT) has become a critical aspect of developing and using HRM programs to better manage the human capital of an organization.
