About Prof S V S S Narayana Raju
Prof S V S S Narayana Raju is serving as the Dean, School of Social Sciences and Humanities & Head, Department of Hindi, Central University of Tamilnadu, India. He completed his MA, PG Diploma in Functional Hindi and Translation and PhD (Hindi) from Andhra University. He is an expert in the Hindi Language with 27 years of teaching experience and 22 years of research supervision experience. He had participated in LEadership for Academicians Programme (LEAP) sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, organised by the University of Hyderabad in partnership with Monash University Melbourne, Australia. in Melbourne, Australia in Feb 2019. He served as the visiting Professor of Hindi (India CHair), Sofia University, Sofia, Bulgaria from 2010 to 2012.
He had supervised 16 PhD and 69 MPhil. He had attended 14 International Seminars and 37 National Level Seminars. He serves in various capacities in 6 editorial boards. He had published 4 books as sole author, 2 as an editor and 220 publication in standard research journals. He had delivered 27 talks/seminars in National/ International platforms. HE had written 16 Hindi poems and 2 Telugu poems. He had translated 3 Telugu poems to Hindi and 2 Hindi poems to Telugu. His voice is very familiar with the Hindi loving AIR community, his talks were aired 23 times in Hindi and 5 times in Telugu. HE had rendered his service as a paper setter, evaluator and thesis adjudicator in 14 Universities in India. He has been a member of 8 academic administrative bodies.
