Dr Salil S
Dr Salil S, a former management teacher and is currently the Education Officer with University Grants Commission since 2013. He worked with UGC Head Quarters New Delhi, UGC Regional Office, Bengaluru and is currently with UGC Regional Office at Hyderabad.
He had conducted more than three dozen training programmes in the areas of Data Analysis and Instructional Design for researchers. His earlier works were featured in The Hindu and Deccan Chronicle. He regularly writes in the mainstream media on education and social innovation. His areas of research interests are alternative higher education and affordable education models, alternative learning spaces and frugal innovation in education.
