There is no registration fee for the webinar.

About Dr. Dinesh S Davè
Dr Dinesh S. Davè is currently serving as the Director and Professor of Supply Chain Management in the Department of Marketing & Supply Chain Management in the John A. Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University, USA. He served as the Head of the Department of Computer Information Systems & Supply Chain Management, the Director of the Center for Business Research, and held the Beroth Oil Four Brothers Professorship. He holds a PhD and two Masters degrees. He is also a certified lean six sigma master black belt.

Dr Davè has been serving on the faculty of different universities in the United States since 1982. His teaching and research activities have been in the areas of Supply Chain/Operations Management, Quantitative Methods & Techniques, Analytical Models, Business Statistics, and Lean Six-Sigma Quality Management. His accomplishments have been recognized through several prestigious awards including the Research Award, Service Award, Distinguished Graduate Faculty Award, One of the Board of Governors’ Teaching Awards, and Outstanding MBA Faculty Award for multiple times. Dr Davè played a leadership role in designing and establishing the supply chain management program in the Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University. He helped established the supply chain advisory board that consists of dedicated business executives from reputable organizations in the United States. He also assisted in establishing supply chain student club which has been sponsored by APICS aka Association for Supply Chain Management.

Dr Davè has published articles in such journals as International Journal of Logistics Systems and Management, Decision Sciences, International Journal of Management, International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology, International Journal of Services Technology and Management, Computers & Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Productivity & Quality Management, Journal of Applied Business Research, Information & Management, Communication of the ACM, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Health Marketing Quarterly, Service Marketing Quarterly, Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly, Tourism Economics, International The IUP Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Management & Social Sciences, and others. Additionally, Dr. Davè has presented his research at regional, national, and international professional conferences. He has also completed several funded research projects. He received the Distinguished Graduate Faculty Award at the university level and Outstanding Research Award and an Outstanding Service Award in the College of Business. He has been recognized as an Outstanding MBA Faculty for multiple times by MBA student.

Dr Davè has been serving on a leadership role for many professional organizations. He served as the President of Southeastern Chapter of the Institute for Operations Research & the Management Sciences (SE InfORMS) Council Member of Southeast Decision Science Institute (SE DSI), and the member of the North Carolina Freight Advisory Committee. He has reviewed articles for journals and he served as a co-editor of International Journal of Electronic Marketing & Retailing. Dr Davè is currently serving on the Board of Advisors of the Branch Banking & Trust Company (BB&T), Director-at-Large of the Foothill Chapter of APICS/ASCM, and Board of Director of North Carolina League of Transportation & Logistics (NC LTL).
