International women’s day is celebrated globally on March 8 every year to uphold women achievements, recognize her challenges and focus attention on gender equality and rights. Department of Physics is organizing a seminar to honor the tremendous efforts of women all over the world for their effective participation and leadership in all areas of life. This seminar will discuss about ‘Ecofeminism’ and ‘Women’s perspective of equality of rights’, two highly debated topics in contemporary society, to motivate young women and make them aware of the opportunities they deserve in this era.
